Our Story

Nestled in the heart of Boise, Idaho, is a tale of two neighbors with a shared vision: to bring high-quality, custom apparel design and printing to our community without breaking the bank. Thus, Barber Valley Threads was born.

Barber Valley Threads wasn’t just created on a whim, it was founded by Dave Adams, a high school visual arts teacher, and Lee Parton, a Boise State University professor when we started searching for custom, small batch apparel for neighborhood events. What we found was either too expensive, low quality, or inaccessible, especially for small orders. The need for an affordable local solution was evident, and with our combined passion we aim to meet that need.

We quickly discovered that our kids enjoy designing shirts as much as (maybe more than!) we do and now we hope to share that experience with others.
